Testimonials

Mike Whye, MTWA President, 2000-2004

The Midwest Travel Writers Association (MTWA) hired Glenda Hinz to serve as its part-time administrative assistant in the late summer of 2001 and has been fortunate to have her working for the association which has approximately 100 members spread over 14 Midwestern states.
In the course of performing her duties for MTWA, Ms. Hinz has also voiced an outside opinion on some of MTWA's activities which has been helpful. During one episode when a planned MTWA meeting fell through and a replacement site had to be arranged with little time, Ms. Hinz went beyond her regular duties and aided that site by preparing and mailing registration form packets to the members of MTWA and then handling the registrations, registration fees and airfares, all tasks normally handled by the host site.

As president of MTWA, I can say that Ms. Hinz has been a valuable asset to our organization and we would be hard put to get our work done without her help. I can also say that not only is she efficient at what she does, she is also a great person to work with.

Cindy Kaliff, Past President of WBON

Glenda Hinz has served as the backbone of our 40-member Women Business Owners Network (WBON) since its inception in 1998. Each year, as a Board, we can focus on harnessing the creativity and talents of our members while Glenda provides continuity, suggestions, questions about procedures and by laws, reminders about past transactions, and a reservoir of historical perspective. Because of Glenda's services, we have been able to move from one year to the next, one president and Board of Directors to the next, in a relatively seemless, professional manner! I would recommend Glenda's services for any organization wishing to increase their scope and professionalism, and decrease their focus on organizational details! She is an administrative treasure!

Michele Tapling, 2003 ASTD-Lincoln President

Glenda Hinz has been the Administrative Assistant for ASTD-Lincoln (a professional training association with 160 members and 15 board members) for ten years.  She is the consistent and dependable link between our rotating board of directors and our membership.  We value her as a critical member of our team who helps our association run smoothly and professionally.

The Rev. Dr. D. G. Hanway, Author

To work with Glenda is to put yourself into the hands of a thorough office professional: quick, yet careful; cutting edge, yet patient; flexible, resourceful, and unflappable. It is wonderfully reassuring to entrust a project to her.

Below is a recording of Barbara Phillips talking about a month-long, world-wide, online event celebrating "older wiser women."  Actually, started as an online event, Barbara's original idea exploded as many people staged their own local events to coincide with the online celebration.
